Mygate, a community management platform, announced the promotion of Rohit Jindal to Co-founder, in addition to his continuing responsibilities as Chief Business Officer (CBO), and Pranav Shankar to the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO), from his previous position as Senior Vice President – Technology.
With a decade’s experience in building tech-first entrepreneurial ventures, Pranav Shankar is an alumnus of the Computer Science Department, IIT-Bombay. He joined Mygate in 2019 and since then, Pranav has contributed significantly to Mygate: from building a large, scalable system with robust technical architecture to leading an array of product engines, such as the visitor approval system, which sees over 100 crore approvals annually, and the payments platform, which facilitates over ₹4500 crore in society dues, to the latest vertical of Smart Home devices, Pranav has helped scale Mygate in a secure and cost-effective manner.
Rohit Jindal joined Mygate in 2017, when the company was still in its formative stages, having previously held key leadership positions at organisations such as Practo, HSBC, and Citibank. In the last 8 years, he has contributed significantly to Mygate’s journey, helping scale up from a single city to over 25,000 communities, across more than 50 cities in India. More recently, he has been instrumental in the growth of the Mygate Ad Platform, establishing Mygate as a high-impact channel for brands targeting urban households.
