ManipalCigna Health Insurance, a standalone health insurance company, announced the appointment of Joydeep Saha as its new Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, following regulatory approval from the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI).
With over two decades of experience in the insurance industry, Joydeep brings a wealth of expertise in actuarial science, product development, and business strategy. He has been associated with the company for over seven years, having previously served as Appointed Actuary and Chief Officer – Actuarial, Product, Reinsurance, Group Underwriting & Analytics. Joydeep holds a Master’s in Applied Statistics and Informatics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
In his new role, Joydeep will continue to work closely with the leadership team to expand the company’s distribution channels, strengthen the brand, and create long-term value for the organization and its customers.
