Landmark Group has appointed Shashi Gumma as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer for SPAR India.
Sashi, a retail expert with 25+ years in both B2C and B2B grocery, previously COO at Metro Wholesale and CEO at More Supermarkets, led impactful projects driving transformational changes in past roles.
Expressing his enthusiasm about his new role, Shashi shared, “SPAR has a strong brand image and recognition in the markets that it operates. It has a rich heritage, strong experience in Indian grocery market and has a passionate team of Professionals in India. Am very keen and eager to build SPAR into a network that provides a great experience to shoppers and create strong patronage with them.”
Sashi, with a BTech from IIT Kharagpur and a PGDM from IIM Ahmedabad, brings vital skills in forming leadership teams, leading change, and promoting sustainable growth essential for SPAR’s next business phase.
