Laiqa Wellness, a Gurugram-based femtech startup, has raised ₹15 crore in seed funding from IvyCap Ventures.
The funds will accelerate the company’s tech-based solutions, which focus on personalised hormonal health tracking, point-of-care assessments, and AI-driven recommendations that integrate both modern science and Ayurveda.
Co-founders Monica Bindra, Harmeet Bindra, and Meenakshi Singh in a joint statement said, “This funding is a testament to our vision of creating a future where women have access to the best tools and care to prioritize their health. We’re grateful to IvyCap Ventures for believing in our mission. With their support, we aim to extend our reach, grow our community, and continue innovating sustainable products and services that truly make a difference in women’s lives.”
Vikram Gupta, Founder and Managing Partner of IvyCap Ventures, shared his thoughts on the partnership, “We’re delighted to support Laiqa in their mission to transform women’s wellness. Their unique approach, combining modern science with Ayurveda, sets them apart in the market. Laiqa’s commitment to empowering women aligns perfectly with our investment philosophy.”
Founded in August 2023 by Monica Bindra, Harmeet Bindra, and Meenakshi Singh, Laiqa offers a unique approach to women’s wellness by addressing hormonal imbalances through cycle-synced, personalised care.
Their offerings cater to a large array of hormonal imbalance-driven conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), thyroid disorders, insulin resistance, sleep disturbances, and other lifestyle-related issues.
Laiqa uses advanced AI and machine learning algorithms to suggest lifestyle adjustments, Ayurveda-based diet and fitness plans, and herbal supplements synced to each woman’s menstrual cycle.
Laiqa offers the MyLAIQA app, which employs advanced AI and machine learning algorithms. The app’s proprietary algorithm objectively scores health parameters and offers cycle-synced actionable insights.
These insights help users manage hormonal fluctuations for enhanced productivity, improved energy levels, and overall wellness.
The app also suggests lifestyle adjustments, Ayurveda-based diet and fitness plans, and herbal supplements, all tailored to each woman’s menstrual cycle.
