Kruu, a project-based learning and skilling platform, has raised ₹1 crore in a bridge funding round, bringing its total funding to $1.25 million in the pre-seed funding round.
Founded in late 2022 by acclaimed musician and educator Anil Srinivasan, Kruu is a Chennai-based learning and skilling platform that enables middle and high-school students to tap into their creative intelligence via project-based learning guided by global subject matter experts.
In just over two years, Kruu has grown into a thriving community of over 470,000 students, with more than 130,000 paying users, spanning India, Sri Lanka, Maldives, and now expanding into UAE, Malaysia, Latin America, and beyond.
Kruu’s unique model combines 3–4-week guided projects with direct mentorship, scholarships, and internship opportunities, bridging the crucial gap between traditional education and future-ready skills.
Kruu has turned revenue-positive in its second year of operations.
