Krutrim, a Bhavish Aggarwal-led AI startup, has acquired BharatSahAIyak, an AI-powered platform developed by Samagra, a governance consulting firm.
With this acquisition, Krutrim aims to leverage its own advanced Large Language Models (LLMs), cloud infrastructure and the underlying agentic platform powering Kruti – its latest agentic AI Assistant app – to scale BharatSahAIyak pan India.
BharatSahAIyak specialises in creating Bharat-focused, vernacular Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) based AI bots that deliver both text and voice-led experiences.
Krutrim has also onboarded Samagra’s core AI team to ensure innovation continuity. The integration of BharatSahAIyak with Krutrim Cloud, along with Krutrim’s agentic platforms and LLM models, enables the company and its partners to serve a wide range of use cases and government applications.
Krutrim spokesperson said, “Integrating BharatSahAiyak into the Krutrim ecosystem widens its offerings, lending cutting edge AI-centric assistance and support to a range of government initiatives, programs and schemes – thereby spearheading and strengthening the democratisation of AI, making it beneficial and accessible to every Indian. At Krutrim, we have onboarded the country’s brightest minds to develop a platform that reflects the diversity, depth, and richness of Indian languages and culture. This integration enhances our ability to build AI that is inclusive, intuitive, and deeply rooted in the lived realities of India. With Krutrim, we remain committed towards making ‘AI for all’ a reality, empowering every individual with technology they can truly call their own.”
Launched in 2023, Krutrim has been building a full-stack AI ecosystem with proprietary models in language, vision, and speech. Krutrim recently announced the launch of Kruti, an agentic AI assistant designed to go far beyond conventional chatbots.
