Kotak Mahindra Life Insurance Company announced the appointment of Sourabh Chatterjee as the Chief Technology and Digital Transformation Officer.
Sourabh succeeds Kirti Patil, who retired after serving as Chief Technology Officer for over two decades at Kotak Life.
Sourabh brings over 26 years of extensive experience across the Life, General, and Health Insurance segments in India, Southeast Asia, and the United States.
Sourabh joins Kotak Life from Oona Insurance, where he served as the Group Chief Technology Officer and led the organisation’s transformation journey towards building Southeast Asia’s most innovative and customer-focused digital insurer. He spearheaded the rollout of Oona’s multi-country, multi-tenant “Insurance as a Service” platform, establishing a scalable digital ecosystem across multiple markets.
Prior to Oona Insurance, Sourabh worked with Bajaj Allianz General Insurance, ICICI Lombard and Infosys in leadership roles overseeing technology strategy, application modernisation, innovation programs, digital sales and large-scale transformation projects. His career reflects a deep understanding of technology-led insurance operations and customer-centric solutions.
