Pine Labs, a global fintech platform, announced the appointment of Sameer Kamath as its next Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Kamath is joining Pine Labs as CFO following the June exit of Marc Mathenz, who left shortly before the company filed its draft with Sebi.
In this role, Sameer will be responsible for the global finance strategy, accounting, investor relations, and providing financial leadership across the Pine Labs group.
Sameer Kamath brings with him a wealth of experience in financial leadership positions across leading companies. He was most recently the Group CFO at Avendus Capital, where he led financial management, strategy, risk and compliance. Prior to that, Sameer was also the Director and Group Chief Financial Advisor at Motilal Oswal.
Sameer is a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, has completed his Post Graduation in Business Administration from NMIMS, Mumbai and has cleared Level II of the CFA program from CFA Institute, USA.
