Impact Infracap, an investment management firm specializing in the Indian infrastructure sector, announced the appointment of Vineet Agarwal as Director.
In this role, Agarwal will be instrumental in driving strategic initiatives and enhancing the firm’s investment management services.
Agarwal brings over 11 years of extensive experience in the infrastructure and energy sectors across India, Southeast Asia, and Latin America. His expertise encompasses equity fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, portfolio management, growth strategy, business development, bidding, and new market entry. Notably, he has led several transactions with an enterprise value of approximately $2 billion and has been actively engaged in corporate strategy initiatives.
Prior to joining Impact Infracap, Agarwal served as Assistant Vice President – M&A at Sterlite Power, where he led significant transactions, including the establishment of a joint venture platform with GIC and the divestment of assets worth over $1.5 billion.
He holds a Post Graduate Program in Management from the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, with majors in Strategy and Finance, and a Bachelor of Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering.
