illumine, an AI-powered full-stack childcare management platform, has raised $2.5 million in a seed funding round led by Prime Venture Partners.
The fresh funds raised will be used to deepen U.S. expansion, accelerate product development, R&D in AI and workflow automation, and integrate with local regulatory systems. The startup plans to further strengthen its platform capabilities, including real-time learning insights, voice-enabled documentation, and predictive analytics for child development.
Founded in 2018 by Navneet Rastogi, Purva Goyal, and Sourabh Agarwal, illumine is an AI SaaS platform purpose-built for childcare management.
Designed to meet the unique needs of childcare centers and preschools, illumine simplifies operations, enhances communication, and delivers powerful AI insights—all through a single, intuitive system.
The platform’s proprietary AI automates lesson planning, manages staff schedules, and enables multilingual communication with families, giving owners access to real-time business intelligence they can act on.
illumine combines enrollment, compliance, billing, parent engagement, curriculum design, and operational analytics. The system is especially effective for multi-site organizations that need unified oversight.
illumine has customers in 56 countries, including the US, Southeast Asia, the UAE, and Europe. The company claims nearly 200% year-over-year revenue growth and a churn rate below 1%.
Navneet Rastogi, Co-founder and CEO, said, “Our AI understands educator workflows and language. That’s the difference. This isn’t generic software — it’s a co-pilot in the classroom and a control panel for owners who need better visibility to grow.”
Sourabh Agarwal, CTO of illumini said, “Unlike horizontal tools that only scratch the surface, our platform is built ground-up for childcare. Every feature is designed to serve a real purpose — not just automate, but truly elevate early learning experiences.”
Purva Goyal, Co-founder and Chief Product Officer, said, “Whether it’s a standalone preschool or a chain of centres, our system adapts and scales based on real-world workflows.”
Shripati Acharya, Partner at Prime Venture Partners, said, “Parents invest thousands of dollars annually in their children’s early education, yet the childcare industry remains surprisingly underserved by modern technology. This results in a frustrating experience for parents, teachers get bogged down in administrative tasks instead of focusing on education, and centers miss out on growth opportunities. We are excited to back the illumine team which is transforming this space with their AI-first vertical solution that simplifies every aspect of running a childcare center while improving outcomes for children, parents, and educators alike.”
