Ideacafe, an integrated advertising, media and communications agency announced the appointment of Biswanath Banerjee as East Head.
Based in Ideacafe’s Kolkata office, Biswanath will lead the agency’s operations across the Eastern region, bringing his deep expertise in outdoor advertising and integrated media solutions.
An MBA from the Sikkim Manipal University, Biswanath is an experienced Marketing Specialist with more than a decade of service in the Outdoor Advertising industry. Biswanath is proficient in Client Servicing, Media Planning, New OOH Project Development, Holographic Display, Anamorphic LED Display, and Generative AI with vast domain expertise and geographical knowledge of the eastern region.
Biswanath has worked with brands like TVS Motors -Raider, Rungta Steel, Ambuja Reality, PS group, PC Chandra Jewellers, Anjali Jewellers, LIC, SBI Mutual Fund, Tata Steel, Uber, Oriplast Pipes and Utkarsh Pipes.
Prior to joining Ideacafe, Biswanath served as Deputy General Manager at Marketing Accord Advertising in Kolkata, a premier out-of-home media owner at a National Level including Airport rights, and premium malls in their possession. Biswanath oversaw the entire operations for 15 long years in the Eastern region, leading a team of marketing professionals of close to 35 people, providing strategic direction, and training, and supporting them to ensure consistent high-performance levels.
Biswanath also worked with ICICI bank credit card in the sales and marketing division. His professional journey also includes his time at the Accord School of Business where he was not only in charge of its Marketing but was also part of its faculty on Marketing management.
