Holiday Tribe, a travel-tech company specialising in leisure holidays, has raised ₹25 crore in its pre-Series A funding round led by Powerhouse Ventures and GSF, along with other notable angel investors. The funding includes both equity and debt.
The funds raised will be used to expand its proprietary AI infrastructure to improve real-time personalization, demand qualification, itinerary optimization, and customer assistance. It also plans to strengthen its supplier base across emerging and established destinations to offer richer, more customizable inventory.
The company will also invest in product innovation, data science, and revamping existing mobile and desktop platforms.
Holiday Tribe had previously raised ₹5.4 crore in a seed funding round in September 2024. Since then, the company has seen rapid growth, expanding more than threefold.
Founded in 2023 by Anshu Sharma and Chirag Goyal, Holiday Tribe focuses on providing highly personalized travel experiences. The brand is geared toward addressing the evolving needs of Indian travellers, offering customizable holiday packages that cater to diverse travel groups, including families, honeymooners, adventure enthusiasts, and those looking to explore new or lesser-known destinations.
Its supply network covers over 100,000 hotels and 1 million activities worldwide. It has also partnered with tourism boards in countries like Abu Dhabi, Mauritius, Dubai, Switzerland, and Singapore.
Holiday Tribe aims to reach ₹500 crore annualized GMV in the next 18-24 months.
Anshu Sharma and Chirag Goyal, Co-founders and Managing Partners of Holiday Tribe, said, “This funding marks a strong vote of confidence in our vision and the work we’ve done to make travel more intuitive, personalised, and seamless. We are grateful to have the continued backing of investors who believe in our mission to build the most seamless and intelligent travel platform with Holiday Tribe. The journey so far has been incredible, and with this momentum, we’re just getting started. With renewed energy and enthusiasm, we will continue to strengthen our AI capabilities, enhance our supplier ecosystem, and deliver even more tailored experiences to our growing customer base.”
Kshitij Golwalkar, General Partner, Powerhouse Ventures, said, “We are deeply impressed by the clarity of vision and execution that Anshu, Chirag, and the team at Holiday Tribe have consistently demonstrated. In a highly competitive travel landscape, they’ve built a differentiated, tech-led platform that places user experience at its very core. Our decision to double down in this round reflects our strong belief in their ability to scale, innovate, and lead the next phase of intelligent travel experiences from India to the world. We are excited to support their next chapter as they scale faster and deeper across new markets.”
