Hey Concrete, a Udaipur-based design-tech startup, has raised ₹7.5 crore in strategic funding from Kamlesh Arjun Choudhari.
The fresh funds raised will be used to set up a manufacturing unit, deepen domestic market penetration, expand into key international architectural markets, and strengthen outreach for the company’s GreenPro-certified concrete solutions.
Founded in 2019 by Aseem Bolia, Shubham Babel and Shabbir H Rahim, Hey Concrete is reimagining concrete surfaces with a focus on aesthetics, durability, and sustainability. Its range of eco-conscious claddings, breeze blocks, murals, and washbasins has already transformed over 2,500 projects across India.
With over 30 showrooms across India and a GreenPro certification for its products, the company has built a strong domestic foundation and is now setting its sights on global architectural markets.
Aseem Bolia, Founder and CEO, Hey Concrete, said, “This partnership is deeply personal to us. Kamlesh ji’s belief in our mission energises our drive to make Indian design and sustainability a global standard.”
Shubham Babel, co-founder, Hey Concrete, said, “With Kamlesh ji’s backing, we’re not just expanding—we’re evolving. This is a shared vision to take India’s design ethos to the world through smart and sustainable materials.”
Shabbir H Rahim, co-founder, Hey Concrete, said, “We’ve always believed that meaningful design should also be responsible. This partnership reaffirms that belief and propels us into the next phase of innovation.”
Kamlesh Arjun Choudhari said, “Hey Concrete is reshaping the possibilities of concrete. Their innovation is rooted in function, design, and purpose—and I’m excited to be part of it.”
