Harvested Robotics, a Hyderabad-based agri-tech startup, has raised ₹5 crores in a seed funding round led by Arali Ventures. The round also saw participation from Anand Mahindra (Chairman of the Mahindra Group), and Chakradhar Gade, (Co-founder of Country Delight).
The fresh capital raised will be used for product development, team expansion, and pilot testing.
Previously, Harvested Robotics has raised $21.8K across two funding rounds, including a $12K grant from Kerala Startup Mission in June 2024.
Founded in 2023 by Rahul Arepaka and George Mathew, Harvested Robotics is developing an AI-powered laser weeder that attaches to tractors. Using high-tech cameras and AI models, it identifies weeds in real time and eliminates them with precision laser technology. This chemical-free alternative aims to lower costs, boost yields, and promote organic farming without harming crops.
By combining robotic hardware with adaptive software, Harvested Robotics offers an affordable, tractor-powered solution to weed control, reducing labor dependency and chemical usage in farming. The innovative technology aims to streamline weed management, making sustainable farming more accessible for farmers.
