GreenStitch, a sustainability-focused SaaS platform in the fashion and textile industry, has raised $1.2 million in a seed funding round led by Equirus InnovateX Fund. The round also saw participation from Ivycap Ventures, Warmup Ventures, and Zeca Ventures, among others.
The round also saw participation from several renowned climate and fashion experts participated as investors, including Anshuman Bapna (founder of Terra.do), Sumit Jain (CTO of Zalora), Pankaj Vermani (founder of Clovia), Amit Kumar (founder of NoBroker), and Senthil Sankar (founder of Ecoline).
The funds raised will be used to enhance its team, refine its product offerings, and develop a comprehensive database for the fashion and textile sector.
“Decarbonising fashion is not optional; it’s urgent. With this funding, we will build tools to empower sustainability managers with actionable insights to drive Net Zero strategies,” said Makwana, CEO.
Arpit Samdani, co-founder and CTO, said, “We are creating a centralised climate data platform for the fashion industry. Our goal is to empower sustainability managers to take clear, effective actions to reduce Scope 3 emissions, measure impact, and progress effectively toward Net Zero.”
Founded in 2023 by Narendra Makwana and Arpit Samdani, the GreenStitch platform integrates directly with enterprise ERP (enterprise resource planning) and PLM (product lifecycle management) systems, consolidating information from multiple supply chain tiers, identify data gaps, and leveraging AI and machine learning to fill missing details. This advanced methodology allows for accurate Scope 3 GHG emission calculations, even when datasets are incomplete.
Beyond emission tracking, GreenStitch empowers businesses with tools for decarbonization and predictive modeling. These capabilities enable brands to assess the environmental impact of design and supplier decisions early in the production process. By identifying ESG risks and enabling proactive adjustments, the platform supports companies in achieving sustainability goals more effectively.
