Geberit India has announced the appointment of Gorika Shyam as its new Managing Director (MD).
Shyam, a seasoned professional with a proven track record in sales and business development, has played a pivotal role at Geberit India over the past decade. Previously serving as Head of Sales, she has been instrumental in strengthening the company’s brand presence and forging key partnerships with developers, architects, and contractors nationwide.
In her new leadership role, Shyam is set to steer Geberit India’s next phase of expansion by driving forward initiatives that prioritise water conservation, digital innovation, and customer engagement. Her focus will include deepening market penetration across urban infrastructure projects and advancing Geberit’s commitment to eco-friendly sanitary solutions.
Shyam takes over from Abubaker Koya, who continues in his leadership role at Geberit Manufacturing India. Widely respected for her strategic vision and people-first approach, Shyam’s elevation reflects Geberit’s commitment to nurturing leadership talent from within and aligning closely with its global sustainability goals.
