GD Goenka University announced the appointment of Dr Dinesh Shenoy as its Vice Chancellor. With a distinguished career spanning three decades across industry and academia, Dr Shenoy brings a vision of excellence, innovation, and global engagement.
Dr Shenoy holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (1994). Between 1994 and 2009, he developed deep expertise in operations and analytics, leading successful projects for ANZ Bank, Melbourne, where he served as Senior Manager, and for Barclays Capital, Singapore, where he was Director of Technology and helped develop a financial risk management platform.
In 2010, Dr Shenoy transitioned to academia. He served as a foreign visiting professor in Engineering and Sciences at Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey, Mexico. More recently, he was Dean of Research and Dean of the Business School at FLAME University, Pune. He joins GD Goenka University from Chanakya University, Bengaluru, where he was Dean of the School of Management Sciences.
