Ferns N Petals (FNP), a gifting platform, announced the appointment of Gaurav Sharma as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
With over two decades of distinguished experience in the technology sector, Sharma will be responsible for overseeing the company’s tech infrastructure, driving innovation, and delivering world-class digital experiences for FNPʼs diverse and expanding global customer base.
As CTO, Sharma will lead FNPʼs technological roadmap, integrating advanced systems and AI-driven solutions aimed at personalizing the gifting experience, enhancing operational efficiency, and setting new standards in customer satisfaction.
An alumnus of IIT Kanpur, where he graduated in Computer Science, Sharma has consistently demonstrated a commitment to driving business growth through purposeful innovation.
Prior to joining FNP, he was the Head of Engineering at the online gaming platform, Zupee. His illustrious career also included serving as the Senior Vice President of Engineering at Nykaa, where he built the technology team from the ground up, growing it from a handful of members to a robust force of 300. Under his leadership, Nykaa scaled its platform significantly, playing a pivotal role in its successful growth trajectory right through to its IPO.
In addition to his leadership at Nykaa, Sharma had previously held key positions at renowned organizations like Info Edge and Microsoft, further establishing his expertise in driving technological innovation.
