Federal Bank has elevated its Group President and Chief Financial Officer, Venkatraman Venkateswaran, to the position of Executive Director.
This move comes after the exit of Shalini Warrier, who previously held the position.
A Chartered Accountant with over 33 years of professional experience, Venkateswaran joined Federal Bank in April 2021 as Group President. He has experience with the first 12 years in manufacturing and 21 years in various Banks (Standard Chartered, HSBC, & Federal Bank).
Presently, he is functioning as Group President & Chief Financial Officer of the Bank and is in charge of Financial Reporting, Taxation, Operations, Loan Collections & Recovery, Credit Administration, Credit Monitoring & Remedial Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, Investor Relations, Corporate Planning, MIS & Analytics, Information Technology and Bank’s subsidiary FedServ.
