Formula 1 and FanCode have announced an extension of their partnership that will see the sports streaming platform in India continue to exclusively broadcast the sport until 2028 inclusive.

Building on the successful partnership between the two companies, which began in 2024, Indian fans will be able to watch every Formula 1 practice and qualifying session, F1 Sprint event and Grand Prix across its channels, offering a bespoke and immersive viewing experience.

As part of the latest agreement, F1 TV Pro and F1 TV Premium will be sold directly via FanCode, making the sport more accessible than ever before, with even more in-depth content to consume.

The latest extension between Formula 1 and FanCode comes following the unprecedented success the sport is seeing in the region in recent years, becoming one of the fastest-growing sports in the nation, with a fanbase of 79 million.

Across the past two years, FanCode have hosted special fan screenings across India to engage the F1 community and will continue to find new and innovative ways for its audience to consume Formula 1.

FanCode will also broadcast rights in Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka, cementing itself as the home of Formula 1 in the Indian subcontinent. F1 TV Pro and F1 TV Premium will be available via F1 in these markets.

2026 will mark a new generation for Formula 1, with the introduction of new sporting regulations and the arrival of two new teams in Audi and Cadillac. Arvid Lindblad, of Indian heritage, is set to become a local fan favorite in his rookie season, having recently been signed by Racing Bulls.

Ian Holmes, Chief Media Rights and Broadcasting Officer of Formula 1, said, “We are delighted to be beginning our next chapter with FanCode after a successful start to our partnership in 2024. FanCode has elevated our broadcast for our passionate Indian audience to ensuring they are able to feel the adrenaline and excitement of a race weekend from the comfort of their homes. We look forward to continue working closely with FanCode and finding new, innovating ways to engage our fanbase in India and its subcontinents.”

Yannick Colaco, Co-founder of FanCode, said, “We are delighted to renew our partnership with Formula 1 for three more years. This expanded deal firmly establishes FanCode as the home of all things F1 in India, and we’re excited to keep serving one of the country’s most passionate and fastest-growing sports communities. Fans have shown tremendous trust in our platform, and we will continue to deliver on their expectations, whether through livestreams, enhanced features or curated F1 community experiences.”
