Experion appointed Senthil Babu as Senior VP, Data and AI; Dion Nathanielsz as Head of Banking Solutions and Services, and Markus Ruetimann, ex-COO of Credit Suisse as its Advisor.
With over 30 years of experience in the Banking and Finance industry, Dion Nathanielsz brings a wealth of knowledge spanning the Asia Pacific, EMEA, and USA regions. His expertise in Credit Risk management, combined with a proven track record in developing and implementing cutting-edge business and technology solutions, positions Dion as a key driver of innovation for Experion’s clients in the financial sector. Dion has held senior executive roles, including Chief Risk Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Executive Officer, across major organizations.
At Experion, Dion will lead the charge in transforming the financial landscape globally, with a focus on ESG obligations and Green lending. He is set to spearhead the company’s efforts in purpose-driven financing, providing critical industry insights into people, process, and systems to ensure Experion stays ahead in delivering sustainable and forward-thinking financial solutions.
Markus Ruetimann, an industry titan with over three decades of experience in financial services, joins Experion as an Advisor. Born and educated in Switzerland, Markus has held prestigious roles in Zurich, Geneva, New York, and London, including Global Chief Operating Officer at Credit Suisse Asset Management, Schroders plc, UBS Asset Management, and Phillips & Drew.
Markus will provide invaluable strategic insights to Experion’s leadership, leveraging his extensive experience in asset management and operational leadership. His advisory role will further strengthen Experion’s capabilities in navigating complex financial landscapes, optimizing operational efficiencies, and scaling innovative solutions to meet the growing demands of the global marketplace.
With over 28 years of extensive experience in digital transformation and technology leadership, Senthil joins Experion Technologies as the Senior Vice President for Data and AI. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in delivering large-scale transformation projects across industries such as BFSI, energy, utilities, manufacturing, retail, and telecom. Senthil has deep expertise in AI, data engineering, cloud data platforms, and analytics, making him a visionary leader in developing and implementing innovative data-driven solutions. His proven track record in scaling AI and analytics businesses gained through senior leadership roles at industry giants like Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and IBM, positions him as a key asset in driving Experion’s growth.
At Experion, Senthil will lead the charge in shaping the company’s Data and AI strategy, fostering innovation across industry verticals, and leveraging cutting-edge AI and data solutions to help clients accelerate their digital transformation journeys.

Since April of this year, Experion has onboarded 300 new hires, including 158 campus recruits, fueling its mission to scale operations in line with its ambitious growth strategy.
