Event Planet Technologies, an event and wedding aggregator platform, has raised $250,000 in angel funding from USA-based serial investor and NRI, Virendra Prasad, valuing the company at ₹30 crore.
The funds raised will be used to expand into new markets and strengthen its proprietary package-based model. Event Planet will also expand its vendor network across India and key global destinations, upgrade its technology platform to enhance automation and personalization, and launch marketing initiatives targeting destination event markets across South Asia, the Middle East, and Europe.
Founded in 2024 by Rohit Yagya, Event Planet Technologies is a Lucknow-based event and wedding aggregator platform that helps people plan and book celebrations easily through structured and customized packages.
The platform partners with verified vendors and curated venues to offer complete event solutions, from weddings and birthdays to corporate events.
Currently active in 32 Indian cities and 8 international markets, Event Planet is gaining traction, especially among overseas Indians planning destination celebrations. The platform brings together curated venues, verified vendors, and ready-to-book packages, making event planning simpler and more reliable.
In the coming years, the company aims to become the world’s leading platform for structured event packages, connecting users, venues, and vendors through technology-enabled coordination and trust.
Rohit Yagya, Founder & CEO, Event Planet Technologies, said, “This investment supports our mission to make event planning simpler, smarter, and more transparent. Event planning has long been an unorganized space filled with uncertainty. We’re transforming this space by building a trusted digital ecosystem that makes event planning as simple as booking a vacation.”
