The fresh funds raised will be used to build innovation-led products, setting a robust R&D-driven design and innovation process, and hiring top talent in the industry in India and globally. EDT is also advancing its broader product roadmap, with select devices across home, kitchen, and personal care set to go live via preorder and waitlist drops between January and February.

Founded in 2025 by Naiyya Saggi (CEO) and Vyasateja Rao (CDO), EDT – Everyday Design & Technology is building contemporary, multifunctional, safe, and intuitive home and personal devices for modern global households.

EDT’s roadmap includes a curated portfolio across Home, Kitchen, and Beauty, each designed around the brand’s core principles of contemporary minimal aesthetics, multifunctional utility paired with intuitive technology, low-EMF and BPA-free ‘better-for-you’ materials, and accessible premium pricing.

Launching first in India, EDT aims to expand into international markets, including the GCC and the US, reflecting its ambition of becoming a modern global appliances brand built out of India.

Naiyya Saggi, Co-Founder & CEO, EDT, said, “At EDT, we believe everyday devices deserve far more than functional upgrades; they deserve to be reimagined for the way people truly live today. Consumers are looking for products that combine thoughtful design, intuitive technology, and materials that are safer and better for their homes. With EDT, we’re creating a new generation of devices that meet these expectations while setting a benchmark for quality and experience globally. This pre-seed round enables us to lay a strong foundation for our innovation-led product pipeline, establish a rigorous R&D and design process, and begin working closely with the emerging tech & manufacturing ecosystem in India. We’re grateful to partner with Sauce VC and a remarkable group of operators and industry leaders as we build a global brand from India.”

Manu Chandra, Managing Partner, Sauce VC, said, “Indian consumers are increasingly prioritising design, quality, and functionality in the products they bring into their homes. EDT sits at the intersection of these shifts, with a deep understanding of modern lifestyle needs and the capability to build globally competitive appliances. This is also one of the largest pre-seed, pre-revenue cheques we’ve written, a reflection of the conviction we have in the opportunity and in the team. We are excited to back seasoned founders Naiyya and Vyasa, who bring a proven track record in building high-trust consumer brands and world-class hardware. EDT has the potential to redefine the category globally.”
