Eco Hotels & Resorts announced the appointment of Rajiv Prashar as General Manager of Corporate Affairs and Swapnil Desai as General Manager of Operations & Business Development.
With over 25 years of experience in hotel operations across India and the US, Swapnil Desai brings deep-rooted expertise and leadership to the hospitality sector. He has held management roles at prestigious hotels such as JW Marriott, The Leela Mumbai, Sahara Star, and Days Inn in the US, eventually rising to General Manager. Most recently, he operated The Little Italy Resort in Goa for 15 years, overseeing all aspects of resort operations, guest experience, and business growth. Swapnil holds a BA in Business Management from Youngstown State University and is a certified Hotel & Motel Manager from the CENDENT Group, New Jersey.
Rajiv Prashar is a seasoned hospitality professional with over 30 years of experience in business development, operations, and client servicing across leading hotel brands globally. Known for his optimistic vision and operational excellence, he has successfully managed premium properties, increased revenue, and enhanced customer satisfaction. Rajiv excels in team leadership, revenue management, and innovative service delivery, consistently driving growth in competitive markets. His expertise spans menu planning, banquet operations, and multi-cultural environments. Adaptable and detail-oriented, he succeeds under pressure, ensuring seamless operations while raising strong client and employee relationships.
