Droga5, the award-winning creative agency, has today announced the appointment of Mark Green as the new global CEO.
Mark Green, who was the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Australia-based creative agency, The Monkeys and who currently leads Accenture Song’s Australia and New Zealand operations as president, will relocate to New York City and take on the role of global CEO of Droga5 starting in October 2024, the role previously held by Sarah Thompson, who departed in early 2023.
Green co-founded The Monkeys with creative partners Scott Nowell and Justin Drape in June 2006. Droga5 was founded by David Droga within Accenture Song in 2006. The Monkeys was acquired by Accenture in 2017, followed by Accenture’s purchase of Droga5 in 2019.
Droga5 has also revealed plans to bring The Monkeys under the Droga5 umbrella. The Monkeys’ offices in Auckland, Melbourne and Sydney becoming part of Droga5 as of 1 December 2024.
