DriveX Mobility, a fully integrated auto-tech platform in the pre-owned two-wheeler market, has appointed Vinod Gupta as Vice President of Manufacturing.
With 24 years of experience in automotive quality and manufacturing, Gupta steps into a critical leadership role as DriveX accelerates its nationwide expansion.
Gupta brings deep operational expertise from leadership stints at Honda Cars India and electric vehicle startup Altigreen. At Honda, he helped set up new manufacturing plants, oversaw quality for export models across global markets, and contributed to the company’s consistent leadership in product quality rankings across India. At Altigreen, he built manufacturing quality systems from scratch, scaling operations to a high-volume annual capacity in just two years, a transformation that married startup agility with structured execution.
At DriveX, he will oversee the company’s end-to-end manufacturing and refurbishment operations, with a focus on scaling vehicle certification systems and improving delivery capabilities. His appointment comes at a pivotal time as DriveX prepares to expand its footprint to 500 retail outlets by 2027.
Gupta holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from MNIT Jaipur and an Executive Post Graduate Diploma in International Business from IIFT, New Delhi. A certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, he has led initiatives across TQM, Quality 4.0, and enterprise-wide quality management systems.
