Dentalkart, an online marketplace for dental shopping, announced the appointment of Gaurav Agarwal as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As part of the role, his appointment will spearhead the company’s financial strategy and operations, maintaining an upward growth trajectory and operational excellence.
With an extensive experience of more than 20 years, Gaurav is a seasoned finance leader who has significantly contributed to driving the financial performance of companies in realty, infrastructure and power industries.
Prior to joining Dentalkart, Gaurav held leadership positions at ReNew Power as the Finance Controller – Open Access (B2B) Business. He has also spearheaded Pioneer Urban Land & Infrastructure Limited as DGM – Finance, navigating diverse financial environments and fostering sustainable growth.
At Dentalkart, he will be responsible for developing and implementing robust financial strategies and budgets to support the company’s growth objectives, optimize financial processes to maintain effective financial systems and controls, and improve operational efficiency.
As part of the role, Gaurav will responsibly handle compliance and risk management for the company to mitigate critical financial risks. In addition, he will also oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and auditing.
