Change Engine, a startup accelerator and ecosystem builder based in Gurgaon, plans to invest over $5 million over the next five years in early-stage AI startups from India.
The initiative aims to support 6 high-potential AI startups annually, focusing on machine learning stack technologies and business applications targeting global markets.
Each year, it will seed 6 startups with initial funding of $50K each, followed by up to $150K through syndication, facilitating a total investment of over $5 million in the next three years.
The accelerator program, designed to foster second-generation AI products, will provide startups with a robust, state-of-the-art sandbox for product development, a customer advisory board featuring leaders from top Silicon Valley companies, and access to a powerful network of global mentors.
“At the heart of our program is a commitment to building transformative, scalable AI solutions that can impact the world. The startups we invest in will not only develop cutting-edge products but also benefit from our deep ties with industry leaders, giving them unparalleled access to global networks and expertise,” said Varun Aggarwal, Founder of Change Engine.
“We’re not just an accelerator; we’re a launchpad for the next wave of AI-driven breakthroughs. By providing the right mix of funding, mentorship, and industry connections, we aim to empower these startups to shape the future of AI and make a global impact,” added Aggarwal.
The accelerator’s previous cohorts have already made waves in the startup world, with Sonic Lambs securing ₹50 lakh in funding after being featured on Shark Tank Season 4 and CallPrep being highlighted in Nikhil Kamath’s WTFund list.
