BlackCarrot, a dinnerware brand, has raised a seed funding round led by We Founder Circle, with participation from EvolveX Accelerator, and Suraj Nalin, Co-Founder of PlaySimple Games.
The fresh capital raised will be used for capital development and expand its presence across various marketplaces.
This investment follows the earlier entry of Bollywood actress Neha Dhupia and Agnello Dias, Co-Founder of Taproot Dentsu, as equity partners in BlackCarrot. In addition to her investment, Dhupia has been onboarded as the brand ambassador and will help promote the startup.
“This investment will fuel our growth across all channels, including our website, marketplaces, and quick commerce platforms,” the cofounders said in a joint statement.
Neha Dhupia, said, “BlackCarrot’s commitment to creating dinnerware that’s not only stylish but also safe and healthy resonates deeply with me. I’m excited for our future growth along with our new investors.”
Founded in 2024 by Yadupati Gupta and Vishal Gupta, BlackCarrot is a Government of India-recognized startup that sells products on all online marketplaces in India.
