Bharti Airtel has announced the appointment of Shivan Bhargava as Director of Customer Experience and Siddharth Sharma as the CEO of its Connected Homes business and Chief Marketing Officer. As per the company, the appointments will be effective from April 1, 2025.
Shivan is a dynamic business leader and a turnaround specialist with a track record of driving top line, increasing profitability and building teams across different industries and geographies.
Shivan is currently working with Bharti Airtel, as CEO for AP, Telangana & Kerala states. Prior to Airtel, he was working with Vodafone Idea as Cluster Business Head for East Region. He has also worked with Digicel group, in Papua New Guinea as Managing Director for Consumer Telecom Business, NIIT Ltd., HCCB and Goodlass Nerolac Paints in his career.
He is an alumnus of IMT Ghaziabad, Batch of 1995 and has completed his B.E. from Nagpur University, Batch of 1992.
Siddharth is a dynamic business leader with 20+ years of experience driving growth and transformation in the Telecom & Media industry across India and Singapore.
In his current role, Siddharth led Airtel’s DTH Business as CEO. He first joined Bharti Airtel in 2005 and was last designated as Senior Vice President, Marketing & Head of Postpaid Business before being seconded to Singtel Singapore in 2016.
At Singtel, he spent three years as Head of Mobile Marketing and Analytics, driving data-led growth strategies. In June 2019, Siddharth returned to Airtel as CEO for the Kolkata, West Bengal & Odisha circles. Prior to Airtel, he gained experience at BPL Mobile and Jet Airways.
Siddharth is an alumnus of UCLA Anderson School of Management.
