Rajesh joins from SBI Card where he served as SVP - Finance and Himanshu from CarDekho Group where he was VP – Strategy.

BharatPe, a financial services and UPI payments platform, announced the appointment of Rajesh C as Head of Finance and Himanshu Nazkani as Head of Investments.

As the Head of Finance, Rajesh will lead the overall finance function, treasury and taxation. With over two decades of rich experience across financial planning, business finance, accounting, and regulatory reporting, he brings a strong track record of strategic planning and driving growth strategies. In his new role, he will play a pivotal part in supporting BharatPe’s long-term growth trajectory and driving financial performance.

Most recently, Rajesh was Senior Vice President – Finance at SBI Card and was part of the core team that managed one of India’s largest IPOs. In the past, he has been associated with ABN Amro-RBS and GE Capital. His extensive experience will help strengthen BharatPe’s financial foundation as the company scales new businesses and prepares for its next phase of expansion.

Himanshu Nazkani joins as Head of Investments, where he will be responsible for driving BharatPe’s investment & Insurance strategy, identifying and evaluating strategic opportunities, and building partnerships that accelerate growth across Mutual Fund, Digital Gold, Fixed Deposit & Insurance verticals.

With extensive experience across fintech, wealthtech, and venture capital, he brings a proven track record of scaling investment products and driving value creation.

Prior to joining BharatPe, Himanshu was Vice President – Strategy at CarDekho Group, where he drove several Group initiatives, including those focused on AI, M&A, value creation, and broader strategic priorities. He has also served as COO of NYE Money, setting up a wealth-tech vertical, and held leadership roles at Kristal.ai, Elevar Equity, and Religare Global Asset Management.
