Axis Asset Management Company (Axis AMC) announced the appointment of Nandik Mallik as Head – Equity & Hybrid for its proposed SIFs. Nandik is a seasoned financial services professional with over two decades of experience, most of it in the asset management space.
Axis Mutual Fund recognizes the significant potential in the newly notified product category i.e. Specialised Investment Funds (SIFs) space, and Nandik will spearhead Axis AMC’s efforts in this emerging category.
With an extensive background in managing large AUMs across risk-adjusted funds, he brings valuable expertise to the team. Nandik’s career includes successfully launching the Long Short Fund at ICICI Prudential AMC. Most recently, he served as the CIO at Avendus Capital Public Markets Alternate Strategies LLP.
Nandik has a BTech degree from IIT, Kharagpur, a PGDM in Finance from the IIM, Calcutta and a Master’s Degree in Finance from London Business School.
