Aspero, a regulated Online Bond Platform Provider (OBPP), announced the appointment of Irfan Mohammed as its Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer.
Irfan, previously serving as Executive Director, has played a key role in Aspero’s development. Over the past five years, he has demonstrated strong mission focus, ownership, and drive, contributing to foundational work, navigating regulatory requirements, and guiding the platform’s growth.
A financial services leader with over 17 years of experience, Irfan brings considerable expertise. He is a founding member of the Yubi Group, where he contributed to conceptualizing and scaling the Yubi platform and network. As Chief Business Officer for Financial Services at Yubi, he helped drive the platform’s adoption from its early stages.
Irfan also co-founded Vivriti Capital, an NBFC focused on mid-market enterprises. His career includes developing debt-raising initiatives and due diligence processes for numerous financial institutions across diverse asset classes. He is recognized for his work in structured finance, credit underwriting, co-lending strategies, and fintech-driven solutions, and has contributed to innovative debt structures for emerging asset classes and NBFCs.
Actively engaged in industry development, Irfan is a member of the OBPP Association, participating in discussions on regulations and frameworks for online bond platforms. He shares his expertise at forums like MFIN, Sa-Dhan, NABARD, CFA Society, and with rating agencies.
