AMAMA, a handcrafted jewellery label, has raised $1 million in its latest funding round from Mistry Ventures. This marks the brand’s second investment after its initial backing from She Capital Trust.
The fresh capital raised will be used to amplify its global storytelling around Indian artisanal craftsmanship and modern design. AMAMA will also scale its operations and deepen its presence in existing as well as new markets. The brand also plans to strengthen its supply chain and tech infrastructure and expand its product and design teams.
Founded in 2019 by Nikita Gupta, AMAMA curates and creates handcrafted fashion accessories that blend traditional artistry with modern aesthetics. Known for its hand-embroidered and 22kt gold-plated brass jewellery, AMAMA operates with a team of over 85 skilled artisans in its dedicated in-house workshop.
AMAMA is gearing up to launch new stores in Mumbai and Ahmedabad, along with two additional outlets in the Delhi NCR region, further expanding its presence in the capital. The brand is also actively exploring travel retail and international expansion via global exhibitions, curated shows, and strategic tie-ups with overseas multi-brand outlets.
Nikita Gupta, Founder of AMAMA said, “This isn’t just a win for AMAMA, it’s a win for bold, rooted design from India. With this backing, we’re ready to scale new heights, explore new geographies, and continue crafting pieces that speak louder than trends.”
