Agilitas Sports has announced the launch of Italian sportswear brand Lotto in India. Agilitas plans to build Lotto into a ₹1,000 crore brand in India over the next five years.
In April 2024, Agilitas acquired a long-term, exclusive license for Lotto. Agilitas had entered into a partnership with the Brand owner, WHP Global. With this, Agilitas has the license to design, manufacture, promote, distribute and retail the Lotto brand in India, South Asia, Australia and South Africa.
Founded in Montebelluna, Italy, Lotto has spent over five decades building a global reputation for sport and style.
To introduce the brand in India, Abhishek Sharma and his mentor Yuvraj Singh take on an unexpected challenge—trying to pronounce “Lotto è un marchio di eredità italiana” (“Lotto is a brand of Italian heritage”).
Yuvraj Singh’s association with the founding team and Abhishek Ganguly dates back to 2011. He is a friend and an early investor in the company.
