Acko announced the appointment of Nitin Sood as its Group Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Sood comes with 26 years of experience in corporate finance, consulting, strategic leadership and investor relations.
In his new role, Sood will oversee ACKO’s financial strategy and management, and lead a dynamic team to contribute to strategic decision-making. He will play an active role in shaping the future of digital insurance in India.
Prior to joining ACKO, Sood was associated with PVR INOX as CFO. He also led a team of over 60 finance professionals across the country, making significant contributions to the company’s growth and success.
Prior to that, Nitin served as VP of Finance at PVR INOX. Earlier, he held the position of GM Finance at PVR overseeing the financial operations and strategy.
Nitin began his career as a Senior Manager at Dimensions Consulting, where he worked on various corporate finance consulting assignments, advising on business initiatives, restructuring plans, and raising private equity capital. He also gained valuable early experience as an Industrial Trainee at Escorts Finance Limited.
Sood is a Chartered Accountant.
